On behalf of Inspiria Outdoor, Ronnie Ram, President and CEO extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the opening of Apple Cinemas at City Center Mall. “We are thrilled to welcome AppleApple Cinemas City Center Cinemas to the Westchester community and are excited about the vibrant energy and increased foot traffic they will bring to our mall. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on our advertisers and the local businesses. Thank you for being a part of this exciting new chapter for City Center Mall.”

Apple Cinemas, a movie theater chain with 11 locations across the Northeast, is opening a new, 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art movie theater complex in the former Showcase Cinema de Lux location at the White Plains City Center, located at 237 Martine Ave. Opening Day is expected to be May 16, 2024. The theater features a renovated lobby, reclining seats, self-serve popcorn machines, and a soon-to-open on-site restaurant. Apple Cinemas promises an action-packed and innovative movie experience, with premium auditoriums including Dolby Atmos and IMAX, and a fresh BurgerFi menu.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on the evening of May 15, 2024, and attended by Ronnie Ram, President and CEO of Inspiria Outdoor, the exclusive advertising partner for the City Center Mall. The introduction of Apple Cinemas is expected to draw significantly more visitors from across Westchester County to the mall. This influx of moviegoers greatly benefits current advertisers by providing them with a larger and more diverse audience.

Additionally, new advertisers have the opportunity to promote their businesses in front of this expanded customer base, enhancing their visibility and impact. With approximately 1,400 seats, the theater also features an Apple Cinemas Premium Large Format ACX screen with 4K LASER and Dolby ATMOS sound, and plans to introduce “IMAX with Laser” by the end of May. Mayor Tom Roach and Jennifer Furioli, Executive Director of the Downtown White Plains Business Improvement District, express excitement about the positive impact this new cinema has on the community and local businesses.
