Inspiria Outdoor Volunteers On National Remembrance Day.
This event took place at the Westchester County Center and was organized by Volunteers New York as a part of Volunteer New York!’s community-wide action day, 9/11: Serve + Remember. The purpose of this event was to honor and remember those who have served our country by making bracelets for our veterans.
These bracelets represent a small gift, or a token of appreciation from local community members for their service. When worn by veterans, it acts as a reminder that there are those who are thinking about them, and their service, and are grateful.
