Giving Back to Our Local Community
At Inspiria Outdoor, giving back is more than a value—it’s a responsibility. As a White Plains–based business, we believe in supporting the community we call home. That’s why we recently organized the Inspiria Outdoor Food Drive to benefit the Thomas H. Slater Community Center, a vital local resource serving seniors and families in need.
Especially during the holiday season, many families and individuals face added financial strain. Moreover, with food stamp benefits being cut, access to basic necessities has become even more challenging. In response, we wanted to step up and do our part to support our neighbors during a difficult time.
Partnering with Nonprofit Westchester
Fortunately, we didn’t do it alone. Nonprofit Westchester played a major role in making this initiative possible. Not only did they connect us with the Thomas H. Slater Community Center, but they also helped guide us on how best to support their needs. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and dedication to strengthening local nonprofits. A Team Effort with Our Building Community
In addition, the food drive became a true community effort. Donations poured in not only from the Inspiria Outdoor team but also from other businesses in our Mitchell building. Together, we were able to collect and deliver much-needed food items to support seniors at the center throughout the holiday season.
As we shared on social media, “As a local White Plains business we are always proud to show support to our community… We are very grateful for Nonprofit Westchester for making this connection.”
